First of all lets clear the basics and then we goto the tutorial.

What are Unlocked Cellphones? and Why anybody would want to Unlock it?

An Unlocked Cellphone is one that can be used on all networks operating on the frequency the phone is designed for. For example, in the UK there are four main networks, Vodafone, BT Cellnet, Orange and One2One. Vodafone and BT Cellnet operate on GSM900, while Orange and One2One operate on GSM1800. A UK dual band phone can operate on GSM900 and GSM1800, therefore being capable of working on all the networks.

However, as the networks don’t want to lose you as a customer, when they supply the phone (on contract or pay as you go) it can be locked to only accept SIM cards from their network.

If you wish to use a SIM from a different network, the phone needs to be unlocked.

How do I know if my phone is locked or unlocked?

There are two ways to check if your phone is locked/unlocked. Firstly, if you have a working SIM from a different network, try putting that into the phone and switching it on. If the phone works and you can make calls on that network, congratulations, your phone is already unlocked. If a message appears, saying “SIM card not accepted” or similar, the phone is probably locked.

How to Unlock your Cellphone?

It is very simple procedure.

Download & Install ” Unlock Code Calculator”

Start the software and Select your Cellphone Manufacturer and Cellphone Model

Enter the 15 Digit IMEI Number of your Cellphone. You can get IMEI number for your Cellphone by entering *#06# in your Cellphone and press Enter.

For Nokia Users you also need to select the Country and the Operator of your Cellphone.

Press Calculate and it will generate a Code similar to #pw+CODE+n#.

Now Press the Help button. Select your Cellphone Manufacturer and you will find the Steps of to use the above generated Code to unlock your phone.

Note (For Nokia Users): You might be confused by the DCT-2, 3 and 4. Here I have categorized different Nokia models into DCT 2, 3 or 4.

Hello friends,

Skins(Updated)

Personalize Opera Mini by choosing a new colorful skin. We have reintroduced the popular skinning feature from Opera Mini 3.

Performance (Updated)

Opera Mini 5 can use our newly established server park in the US. This means significantly faster page downloads for our users in the Americas and Asia-Pacific region. Users in the rest of the world will also experience faster page downloads since we’ve reduced the load on our other servers.

Video (Updated)

We are working to make video content available on more phones through Opera Mini. If you have a new Sony Ericsson or Nokia phone, the chance is high that you can take Opera Mini for a spin on

Sync Notes (Updated)

The handy Notes functionality from the Opera Desktop Web browser just got more portable through Opera Link. All of your notes are available in Opera Mini directly from the Bookmarks menu.

Now even faster

Prior to this release, we upgraded our servers and Opera Mini now receives your requested Web pages up to 50% faster. So you can now access sites like Facebook, BBC, and any of your other favorite Web sites even faster, with desktop-like speeds.

Find things faster

The new Opera Mini lets you search for text within a Web page so you can get to the information you need even quicker than before.

Get to your Websites faster

When typing Web addresses, Opera Mini will recognize and suggest completions for you based on your Bookmarks and browsing history, making address input faster, easier and much more intuitive.

Download and upload files

On phones with JSR-75, you can now upload and download files using Opera Mini, without being re-routed to your phone’s native browser. Update your blog while on the go. Upload photos to your Web site or social network. Add attachments easily to Web-based email, and download other non media-rich content to your phone using Opera Mini.

Save it for later

On phones with JSR-75, Opera Mini lets you save pages for offline viewing so you can quickly access and read your desired Web content, even when you’re on a plane, in the subway, or in other places where you can’t get network reception. Depending on your phone, you may need to choose a destination folder for storing pages for offline viewing

Sync bookmarks and Speed Dial

Opera Mini features Opera Link, which allows you to synchronize your bookmarks and Speed Dial with a computer running Opera 9.50 or other mobile device running Opera Mini.

View pages in Landscape mode

To view the Web on a wider screen, just hit * # and flip your phone to the side to enjoy browsing in Landscape mode. Change your default view to landscape by turning “Landscape mode” on inside the Settings menu.

Give your phone a mouse

Opera Mini gives your phone a virtual mouse, so you can easily scroll in any direction. Move the mouse cursor towards what you want, and then it quickly snaps your view to the link or content.

Power scrolling shortcuts

Scroll at warp speed using your phone keypad. Find your way around on the Web pages quicker by using your phone’s number keys. Press 2 to go up, 4 to go left, 6 to go right and 8 to go down. Hitting 5 zooms you in and out.

Create custom search shortcuts

Just like in Opera for your computer, you can create your own Web search from any search field on the Internet using Opera Mini. Simply click on the search field that you want to grab on a Web page and then choose “Create search” within your menu alternatives. Then you can enjoy making frequent searches without having to type in the site link again.

Tools and support for Web designers

We support Web designers who want to make their Web sites look even better to those browsing with Opera Mini. In Opera Mini, we have included all of the CSS support that Web designers need to make their Web pages look pixel perfect on in the mobile Web world.

Full Web in your palm

When visiting a Web page, Opera Mini displays the overview of the page and suggests where to begin your reading.

Built for speed

Opera Mini is built for speed. Web pages are compressed by up to 90% of its original size for speed, saving your time & money

If you were trying to delete some files and you get any one of these below warnings from windows then the Hacking Tool of this week is most suited for you.

Cannot delete file: Access is denied

There has been a sharing violation.

The source or destination file may be in use.

The file is in use by another program or user.

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

Windows File Unlocker

This single-function system utility removes a file’s access restrictions. Unlocker is unobtrusive: it resides in the system tray; an Unlocker command appears in files’ right-click menus.

Description

The application removes file-access restrictions that prevent a user from moving, deleting, or renaming a file. The user right-clicks on a file and selects Unlocker, which displays information regarding the selected file, such as Path Locked, PID, Handle, and Process Path. This program also allows terminating a currently running process. In some cases, files cannot be accessed due to Windows file-access bugs, for which Windows informs the user the file is currently in use–even when it’s not.

Unlocker can effectively bypass this bug’s restrictions; it unlocks or disables whatever is preventing the user to access that file. This tool would be a lot easier to use if it allowed hot keys. Novices to advanced users will find this free application very useful.

Features

Close any handle.

Kill any process.

Unload any Damn DLL. Note: You should be aware of the consequences before doing it.

Delete index.dat . ‘index.dat‘ is System File which store your IE Web History

Delete, Rename and Move any file you want without the permission of the owner

Best of all. It is a Freeware!

How to Use it?

Simply right click the folder or file and select Unlocker

If the folder or file is locked, a window listing of lockers will appear

Simply click Unlock All and you are done!

Download

You can download this free Utility at http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/unlocker1.8.7.exe

Tools in the Hungry Hacker’s Toolkit Uptill Now:

Kon Boot – Resets Windows and Linux Admin Passwords

Hello Friends,

Happy Diwali and a prosperous New Year to all of you. This Diwali we are going to give you very Special Gift. We are starting a new Article Series. Every week we will be posting a new Hacking Software which you can Download and add it to your Hacking Toolkit. We will try to explain each and every aspect of the software to make it easy for you use it.

Kon Boot – Resets Windows and Linux Admin Passwords

Kon-Boot is an prototype piece of software which allows to change contents of a Linux kernel (and now Windows kernel also!!!) on the fly (while booting).

In the current compilation state it allows to log into a Linux system as ’root’ user without typing the correct password or to elevate privileges from current user to root. For Windows systems it allows to enter any password protected profile without any knowledge of the password.

It was mainly created for Ubuntu, later the author has made a few add-ons to cover some other Linux distributions.

Entire Kon-Boot was written in pure x86 assembly, using old grandpa-geezer TASM 4.0.

Kon-Boot for Windows

Kon-Boot was moved to Windows platforms. So now it provides support for Microsoft Windows systems and also the Linux systems listed below. Kon-Boot for Windows enables logging in to any password protected machine profile without without any knowledge of the password. This tool changes the contents of Windows kernel while booting, everything is done virtually – without any interferences with physical system changes. So far following systems were tested to work correctly with Kon-Boot:

Windows Server 2008 Standard SP2 (v.275)

Windows Vista Business SP0

Windows Vista Ultimate SP1

Windows Vista Ultimate SP0

Windows Server 2003 Enterprise

Windows XP

Windows XP SP1

Windows XP SP2

Windows XP SP3

Windows 7

Usage for Windows:

No special usage instructions are required for Windows users, just boot from Kon-Boot CD/Floppy, select your profile and put any password you want. You lost your password? Now it doesnt matter at all.

Kon Boot for Linux

It has been tested with the following Linux distributions:

Gentoo 2.6.24-gentoo-r5 GRUB 0.97

Ubuntu 2.6.24.3-debug GRUB 0.97

Debian 2.6.18-6-6861 GRUB 0.97

Fedora 2.6.25.9-76.fc9.i6862 GRUB 0.97

Usage for Linux:

1. Boot with Kon-boot CD or Floppy
2. When Linux is fully booted go to the console mode
3. Type ‘kon-usr’ as login, if it works you should be now in the system

Remember: To restore the system when you are leaving, you can do this by typing ‘kon-fix’ as login again.

Sample Output:

Ubuntu 8.04 torpeda tty1
torpeda login: kon-usr
# id
uid=0(root) gid=0(root)
# whoami
root

Logging Problem?

torpeda login: kon-usr
/bin/sh: Can’t open kon-usr

FIX: type ‘kon-fix‘ as login

Download:
