Increase Dial up Download speed

Dial up Download speed is low and some time it can be unused for advanced user so to improve Dial up Download speed following registry editing is helpfull.

1. Direct in Regedit :
Open
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ Tcpip\Parameters

Edit as follows:
“SackOpts”=dword:00000001
“TcpWindowSize”=dword:0005ae4c
“Tcp1323Opts”=dword:00000003
“DefaultTTL”=dword:00000040
“EnablePMTUBHDetect”=dword:00000000
“EnablePMTUDiscovery”=dword:00000001
“GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize”=dword:0005ae4c

OR
[eminimall]
2. By .Reg file :
Open notepad & paste

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters]
“SackOpts”=dword:00000001
“TcpWindowSize”=dword:0005ae4c
“Tcp1323Opts”=dword:00000003
“DefaultTTL”=dword:00000040
“EnablePMTUBHDetect”=dword:00000000
“EnablePMTUDiscovery”=dword:00000001
“GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize”=dword:0005ae4c

>> Now save this file as speed.reg (in Windows). Execute it and observe the change!

    hey left click start ->click run->type regedit inside the box & click ok-> and then u can find the parameters hkey etc

    Hi if you want an easy way to speed up your dial up it is going to be This:
    go to start, control panel,phone and modem options, modems tab,select your modem,now go to the advanced tab,type in the box “AT&FX”{without quotes} now press OK ,go to your dial-up connection click options,configure,Change maximum speed(bps)to 921600,click OK again now go to networking tab find the one called “internet protocol (tcp/ip),click it then press properties,you will find 2 boxes in the second one select “use the following ……”,in the preferred DNS server type 208.67.222.222,and in the second one type 208.67.220.220,now last step to make your internet fast go to speedguide.com and download the file called tcp/ip optimizer,open it, choose your speed and press modify all network adapters ,now last step press optimal settings and click apply restart and you have got a fasted internet
