So you want to know “How to turn the PC on in 10 seconds”. Alright here is what you have to do to turn on your PC in 10 seconds

  • First click on the start button then press R it will take you to Run well go to run.
  • Then type Regedit.
  • Press Enter.
  • This will open Registery Editor.
  • Now look for the key.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ContentIndex

  • Now there find the Key Called “Startup Delay”
  • Double Click On It.
  • Now where its Base.
  • Click Decimal.
  • Now its Default Value Is 4800000.
  • Change The Value To 40000.
  • Here you go. You have Done it
  • Now close the Registery Editor and Restart Your Computer.
  • You’ll See The Result.

    NONSENSE
    The registry setting “StartupDelay” controls the delay before the indexing service begins scanning. It’s purpose is to delay indexing until bootup is complete. The default of 8 minutes will usually accomplish this. Changing this to 40 seconds as suggested may allow indexing to begin before bootup is complete, thus SLOWING the process.

    Of course if indexing is disabled the setting will do nothing.
